It fits in the outside hand hole. You should use a stabilizer if your extension is 4 inches or longer. They are easy to install – just slide the stabilizer over the extension and into the hand hole. If it is aluminum, there are three major manufacturers: Alcoa, Accuride and a Taiwan wheel used on the Ford chassis. What size is your wheel (it is written on the tire)?
