Regency Shaver Socket Polished Brass Lacquered & White Trim

A dual voltage shaver socket with transformer, appropriate for use with either 115v or 230v 2 pin shavers/toothbrushes on a Regency style plate made from solid brass with a Polished Brass Lacquered finish.The Regency style of plate is characterized by the bead detailing around the edge that is associated with this particular period and architectural style. This design can also be found in other architectural items from the period such as door furniture and lighting.Lacquered Polished Brass should retain the bright shiny appearance for a period and should not be polished with abrasive polishes/cleaners as this will break down the lacquer. Like paint and varnish, with use and over time the lacquer will break down causing the items to look “scruffy” and require attention. Clean with a soft damp cloth followed by an application of a quality wax polish.We recommend using a minimum 35mm depth backbox with this product to give a comfortable amount of space for the wiring behind the plate.Dimensions:Height: 148mm; Width: 89mm
