It fits in the outside hand hole. You should use a stabilizer if your extension is 4 inches or longer. They are easy to install – just slide the stabilizer over the extension and into the hand hole. Package of 2 How do you know which stabilizers you need? Is your wheel aluminum or steel? If it is aluminum, there are three manufacturers: Alcoa, Accuride and a Taiwan wheel used on the Ford chassis. What size is your wheel (written on the tire)? What size is the hand-hole in your wheel?
