Georgian Plate for Modular Electrical Components 50x25mm Dark Antique Relief

A solid brass Georgian style plate with a Dark Antique Relief finish with an aperture of 50 x 25mm. This product includes the plate and a grid which allows it to be used with modular (also known as Euro) components of size 50 x 25mm which are available to purchase separately.The Georgian style of plate is characterized by the rope detailing around the edge that is associated with this particular period and architectural style. This design can also be found in other architectural items from the period such as door furniture and lighting. It is a quality, heavy cast plate that also has a practical advantage of being slightly larger than some other plate styles (whilst still fitting to a standard back box) so can be useful to cover up messy plastering around the plate edge.The dark antique finish is produced by hand in our workshop, meaning each item is truly unique. It is a dark finish with areas that are relieved as if natural ageing has taken place.
