Reed & Ribbon Round Dolly Light Switch 1 Gang Renovated Copper Black

A 1 gang (single switch) Reed and Ribbon Dolly Switch finished in our Renovated Copper. Supplied with an unfinished square oak pattress for you to stain, wax or colour as you wish. The high quality dolly switch mechanism is made in the UK and is rated at 20A. It is available as 2 Way, Intermediate or Retractive. A 2 way switch is suitable for operating lights that only require switching from up to 2 places, the intermediate switch would be required if the light is to be operated from more than 2 places (for example in hallways and on landings). A retractive switch is used for momentary contact to operate items such as electric blinds and roof lights etc. Renovated copper is a living finish that is produced by hand specifically to give the appearance of a lovingly restored original item. Recesses are darker as they would typically be harder to polish, larger surfaces are more polished and shinier. It is unlacquered so it will oxidise as it is exposed to the air and it will mellow and develop a rich patina with age and use. It can be polished to achieve a lighter brighter finish or left to age. This natural ageing combined with the hand crafted nature of the finish means that there may be differences in colour and detail.
