Georgian Dimmer Switch 4 Gang Antique Brass Lacquered

Four dimmer switches on a Georgian style plate made from solid brass with an Antique Brass Lacquered finish.The Georgian style of plate is characterized by the rope detailing around the edge that is associated with this particular period and architectural style. This design can also be found in other architectural items from the period such as door furniture and lighting. It is a quality, heavy cast plate that also has a practical advantage of being slightly larger than some other plate styles (whilst still fitting to a standard back box) so can be useful to cover up messy plastering around the plate edge.The Antique Brass finish is lacquered with lighter and darker antique tones. It should not be polished with abrasive polishes/cleaners as this will break down the lacquer.
