Description Chad Valley Jumbo Kaleidoscope measures 39cm in height x 7.5cm diameter of the base. Retains its original shop sticker. It was retailed by G.R Hielscher Chemist in Kahibah a suburb of Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Chad Valley based in England and established in 1897were famous for their books, cloth dolls, tin plate toys & plush teddy bears and animals. Many items were exported from England to Australia. In the 1960’s at the height of production they had seven factories and one thousand employees. The company ceased trading in 1978.
