Nissan RB into Volvo 240 series engine mounts

Description Nissan RB into Volvo 240 series engine mounts Sits an Rb series engine into a Volvo 240 series Will require Rear sump setup, and custom crossmember depending on gearbox used (not included, contact if required) Sits an rb20 gearbox in the factory Volvo transmission tunnel with only slight clearancing required at the very rear of gearbox. Slight trimming of the front rad support may also be required. The engine mounts work in conjunction with any generic double ended stud mount (not included, see pics) The re enforcement plates with countersunk bolts fit where the factory mounts bolt to the subframe. Then the 10mm middle hole in the re enforcement bracket is required to be drilled on through crossmember. The double ended stud mount of choice is then sandwiched in between, one side bolted through the reinforcement plate and crossmember, and one through the engine mount itself.   Like this:Like Loading...
