Description Australian Studio Pottery Busts. Hungarian Alexander Takacs (1923 – 1968) migrated to Australia in 1948, post WWII and set up a pottery studio in Glebe In 1955 he relocated to Belmore and then to Bowral, Southern Highlands, NSW in 1968. Signed on the back of the male figure. Measures 17cm in height x approximately 11cm diameter. No damage – chips or cracks.
