Dual Satellite and TV Coaxial Arial Sockets on an Edwardian style plate made from solid brass with a Polished Brass Unlacquered finish.The Edwardian plate is stylish and elegant being characterized by the fabulous double stepped edge. It is a quality, heavy cast plate that also has a practical advantage of being slightly larger than some other plate styles (whilst still fitting to a standard back box) so can be useful to cover up messy plastering around the plate edge.Unlacquered polished brass is a living finish that will mellow over time. To start with it is bright and shiny, but it will age and develop a rich dark patina that has lighter areas where it is handled. It can be left to age like this indefinitely or can be polished with a metal polish to restore to bright and shiny as new. Leaving the plates to age naturally is a popular choice in period and traditional settings as the characterfulness can be more in keeping. If you don't want to wait for the ageing to take place naturally in your home, consider our Hand Aged Brass finish instead.The satellite socket is a threaded Type F connection and the TV socket is a standard push in connection. These high quality sockets are supplied non isolated as standard which suit most applications.
