Edwardian Telephone Socket Secondary Satin Nickel

A single telephone socket on an Edwardian style plate made from solid brass with a Satin Nickel finish.The Edwardian plate is stylish and elegant being characterized by the fabulous double stepped edge. It is a quality, heavy cast plate that also has a practical advantage of being slightly larger than some other plate styles (whilst still fitting to a standard back box) so can be useful to cover up messy plastering around the plate edge.Satin nickel is a less reflective surface than polished nickel as the brass is abraded prior to the plating process. It can be cleaned occasionally with a soft cloth with wax polish.A primary (or master) socket is required for the outlet where the telephone line first enters the property, for all other locations in your property you need a secondary (or slave) socket.
