13 Amp Fused Spur Connection Unit on a Mode style plate made from solid brass with a Polished Brass Unlacquered finish.The Mode plate has a single stepped edge design that would look fabulous in a wide variety of settings from traditional and period right through to contemporary.Unlacquered polished brass is a living finish that will mellow over time. To start with it is bright and shiny, but it will age and develop a rich dark patina that has lighter areas where it is handled. It can be left to age like this indefinitely or can be polished with a metal polish to restore to bright and shiny as new. Leaving the plates to age naturally is a popular choice in period and traditional settings as the characterfulness can be more in keeping.
