A Vertical 45 Amp Double Pole Cooker Switch with Indicator on a Victorian style plate made from solid brass with an Antique Satin Brass finish.The Victorian plate is flat with simple clean styling that was a characteristic of the Victorian era when practicality and simplicity were the focus. It will suit many styles from traditional and period to contemporary. It can be fitted directly to the wall, but if preferred can be mounted onto a wooden pattress (see link below). This gives the benefit of extra space for the wiring (enabling it to be used with a 25mm back box), and can also cover up messy plastering that might otherwise be visible. Using a pattress with any item in this range also complements our period dome switches.The antique satin brass finish is produced by hand in our workshop and beautifully complements other items of door and window furniture in our extensive range. It is a living finish that is unlacquered so it will oxidise as it is exposed to the air and it will mellow and develop a richer patina with age and use. It can be polished back to achieve a lighter brighter finish or left to age further. This natural ageing combined with the hand crafted nature of the finish means that there may be differences in colour and detail. This all adds to the beauty, character and individuality of each product.
