Description Victorian era 1870’s to early 1900’s green glass vase. Measures 15.5cm x 7cm. Mary Gregory is a term used to describe this type of glass produced in Bohemia (Czech republic) around 1870. This glassware was enamel painted figures, typically children on a clear or coloured glass background. The style was developed in Europe to compete with carved cameo glass and was later reproduced in America and other countries. It is still being made today.
