Tunstall is a town in Staffordshire, England and the pottery history of the area dates back to the 14th century with companies like Hollinshead & Kirkham (H&K Tunstall) being prominent producers of earthenware and porcelain from 1876 until they were incorporated into Johnson Bros Group in 1956. Notable designers like Clarice Cliff worked at Hollinshead & Kirkham as lithographers in the early 1910’s.
